Outline: The international academic societies such as ISPRS, GRSS and AARS are facing difficult situations under the pandemic crisis. Many international and domestic conferences, workshops, meetings were canceled.  However, we cannot stop the activities of the academic societies. For the past several months, we have learned how to manage the situation by effectively utilizing internet technologies. In this panel session, the panelists discussing about the difficulties and possible solutions of the international academic societies against the pandemic crisis.

The 41se Asian Conference on Remote Sensing(ACRS) was successfully organized in Deqing, China.
